We Are Many returns to UK cinemas

Acclaimed Documentary We Are Many will be hitting UK cinemas again on September 21st to coincide with its virtual US and Canadian Premiere. This date was chosen to support the UN’s International Day of Peace, something that resonates strongly with the films messaging, especially in this tumultuous year.

From the creators of the recently released Coup 53, We Are Many explores the never-before-told story from the largest demonstration in human history, where up to 30 million people many of whom had never demonstrated before, came out in nearly 800 cities around the world to protest against the impending Iraq War. The worldwide event which was organised by a small group of activists had a profound effect on many people, including some we see leading todays protest movements.

Fearless and thought-provoking this documentary is as timely today as when it was first filmed. The film will be showing in a host of cinemas around the country and the virtual event will also include a special Q&A after the screening, featuring leading activists and cast members.

In the US and Canada, the film will be premiered on the evening by a variety of ‘virtual hosts’ who include local venues and organizations, all who benefit from ticket sales.

The live stream will begin at 1am but for those who are unable to join at that time they will have the opportunity to watch the stream for another 48 hours after.
