We all have a superhero inside us, it just takes a bit of magic to bring it out. In Billy Batson’s (Asher Angel) case, by shouting out one word—SHAZAM!—this streetwise 14-year-old foster kid can turn into the adult Super Hero Shazam (Zachary Levi), courtesy of an ancient wizard. Still a kid at heart—inside a ripped, godlike body—Shazam revels in this adult version of himself by doing what any teen would do with superpowers: have fun with them! Can he fly? Does he have X-ray vision? Can he shoot lightning out of his hands? Can he skip his social studies test? Shazam sets out to test the limits of his abilities with the joyful recklessness of a child. But he’ll need to master these powers quickly in order to fight the deadly forces of evil controlled by Dr. Thaddeus Sivana (Mark Strong).
“Shazam!” also stars Jack Dylan Grazer (“IT”) as Billy’s best friend and ultimate superhero enthusiast, Freddy, part of the foster family that includes Mary, played by Grace Fulton (“Annabelle: Creation”); Darla, played by Faithe Herman (TV’s “This is Us”); Eugene, played by Ian Chen (TV’s “Fresh Off the Boat”); and Pedro, played by Jovan Armand (TV’s “Hawaii Five-O”). A gripping real-life story of a Mafia kidnapping in Italy is enthrallingly re-imagined as supernatural fantasy by the directors of the acclaimed Salvo.
Giuseppe is the 13-year-old son of a Mafia hitman, turned informant. When he disappears, it is assumed he has been kidnapped by his father's former bosses. Giuseppe's girlfriend, the determined Luna, battles her mother (some kind of wicked witch) and the police authority's sloth and corruption in her search for him. Cleverly plotting her relentless quest, while her imagination conjures up mysterious and magical visions of where Giuseppe might be, Sicilian Ghost Story contrasts these fantastical worlds with the grim reality of the boy's cruel captivity.
An enchanting, original and bittersweet film with a dark heart, Fabio Grassadonia and Antonio Piazza draw out wonderful performances from their young cast, while prolific cinematographer Luca Bigazzi's luminous images highlight both the magic and bleakness of these worlds.

Things turn to the extreme when Veijo does not finish a job he was paid to and his client finds out…in this grungy exploitation throwback.

IMAX Corporation (NYSE:IMAX) announced that Yash Raj Films’ much-anticipated epic —Thugs of Hindostan—will be digitally re-mastered in the immersive IMAX format and released in IMAX® theatres in India and select international markets beginning this November.

Synopsis:
The film's plot is based on Philip Meadows Taylor's 1839 novel Confessions of a Thug, about a Thug (also known as Thuggee) called Ameer Ali, whose gang of Thugs posed a serious challenge to the British Empire in India (then known as Hindustan or Hindostan) during the early 19th century. The film tells a fictional story set between 1790 and 1805.[6] The protagonist Ameer Ali is portrayed by Aamir Khan.
Ricardo and Carolina are complete strangers that meet seemingly by chance in the “Forest of the Lost Souls”, a place where many people go to commit suicide. These two, a young woman and an old man, are no different than the others as they also came to the forest for this very reason.
They decide to briefly postpone killing themselves in order to explore the forest and also to continue talking to one another, as Ricardo and Carolina find themselves intrigued by one another.
However, as the pair go further into the forest it becomes clear that one of them has other reasons for being in the forest and is not who they would have the other believe them to be and is actually a psychopath…
The Forest of the Lost Souls will open theatrically August 5 in L.A and other cities.
