New Character Posters for Disney's 'Christopher Robin'

Christopher Robin is an upcoming American fantasy comedy-drama film directed by Marc Forster, from a screenplay by Alex Ross Perry and Allison Schroeder and a story by Perry. The film is inspired by A. A. Milne and E. H. Shepard's book Winnie-the-Pooh and is a live-action/CGI extension of the Disney franchise of the same name. The film will star Ewan McGregor, Hayley Atwell, and the voices of Jim Cummings and Brad Garrett.

Christopher Robin is scheduled to be released on August 3, 2018 by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures in the United States.

Christopher Robin, the little boy from the Winnie-the-Pooh stories, is now all grown up and has lost all sense of imagination. Pooh and his friends from the Hundred Acre Wood re-enter Christopher's life to help him find it again.

After finding a laptop, a young man goes online to play a game with five of his good friends. He shows them a mysterious folder that plays disturbing videos of people who appear to be in danger. Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald - Official Comic-Con Trailer & Teaser Cast Image

Warner Bros. Pictures’ “Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald” is the second of five all new adventures in J.K. Rowling’s Wizarding World™.

At the end of the first film, the powerful Dark wizard Gellert Grindelwald (Johnny Depp) was captured by MACUSA (Magical Congress of the United States of America), with the help of Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne).  But, making good on his threat, Grindelwald escaped custody and has set about gathering followers, most unsuspecting of his true agenda: to raise pure-blood wizards up to rule over all non-magical beings.

In an effort to thwart Grindelwald’s plans, Albus Dumbledore (Jude Law) enlists his former student Newt Scamander, who agrees to help, unaware of the dangers that lie ahead.  Lines are drawn as love and loyalty are tested, even among the truest friends and family, in an increasingly divided wizarding world.

The film features an ensemble cast led by Eddie Redmayne, Katherine Waterston, Dan Fogler, Alison Sudol, Ezra Miller, with Jude Law and Johnny Depp.  The cast also includes, Zoë Kravitz, Callum Turner, Claudia Kim, William Nadylam, Kevin Guthrie, Carmen Ejogo, and  Poppy Corby-Tuech.

“Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald” is directed by David Yates, from a screenplay by J.K. Rowling.  The film is produced by David Heyman, J.K. Rowling, Steve Kloves and Lionel Wigram.

Acclaimed horror SHEBORG gets U.S release - new trailer! new poster!

Cult Australian horror film SHEBORG premieres in North America this November, via Wild Eye Releasing.

Written and directed by Daniel Armstrong and starring Daisy Masterman, Whitney Duff, and Emma-Louise Wilson, SHEBORG tells of an alien fugitive that crash lands into a local puppy farm and begins turning people into mutated robot killing machines with a taste for puppy flesh. From the loyal, life-long companions like Pascal in Tangled to the totally over-the-top but loving likes of Donkey in Shrek, every mighty hero needs a just as legendary sidekick, and animals make the best pals. From sniffing out the bad guys to helping their friend’s escape the clutches of their evil captor’s, our favourite films wouldn’t be the same without these furry friends.

To celebrate the release of Tad the Lost Explorer and the Secret of King Midas available on Digital Download now and DVD from July 16, we’re taking a look at the ultimate animal sidekicks in films, which includes one of Tad’s best buds, Belzoni the Bird.

Pascal from Tangled
As Rapunzel’s one true friends and her silent, colour-changing sidekick, this cute little guy certainly left us all wanting a cute, little pet chameleon. Keeping Rapunzel company during her long life locked away in the tower meant they soon became best friends. Although he’s only small, he plays a big role in Rapunzel’s life, supporting and encouraging her on her journey to escape the grasps of her evil Mother Gothel and find her way out of the tower and into the real world. His dedication to help his best pal and encourage her on her way earns him his hero status.

Donkey from Shrek
Not only Shrek’s famous sidekick, but also his best friend, Donkey is an unforgettable character. Although often dramatic, Donkey acted valiantly throughout the series as Shrek’s ‘noble steed’ while also providing the laughs along the way – even if he did wind Shrek up with his singing. From fighting alongside Shrek to rescue Princess Fiona from the dragon-guarded castle, to accompanying him on his journey to find the new king of Far Far Away, and even on Shrek’s search for love, Donkey’s company meant there was never a dull moment. And even when Shrek didn’t think he needed a sidekick, we all know that really, he did.

Scooby Doo
As one of the most iconic animal sidekicks on screen, no mystery would have been solved without him, even if he and Shaggy did mostly stumble across the bad guys by mistake. As Shaggy’s best friend and the gang’s best bad-guy tracker, Scooby always led the team to unmask the villains and was rewarded with his famous Scooby snacks. Solving mysteries and providing us with a laugh earns Scooby a spot on our list of ultimate animal sidekicks in film. What do they say… dogs are a man’s best friend!

Timon and Pumbaa from Lion King
Without these guys, Lion King would definitely have had a few less laughs. As the ultimate sidekicks to Simba, they support him through the tough times helping him to reunite with his pride and take his place as the rightful King of the Pride Lands. They’re jazz hands and musical numbers arguably make them the greatest characters in the Lion King and Simba would have been lost without their humorous guidance. They are definitely up there with some of the best animal sidekicks in film, they provided us with Hakuna Matata after all…

Belzoni the Bird from Tad the Lost Explorer
Tad couldn’t have taken on his dreams of becoming an archaeologist travelling the world if it wasn’t for his zany friends, including the mischievous, Belzoni the Bird. When Tad discovers that they must adventure to find King Midas’ missing necklace, his friend Sara goes missing, leaving behind her pet bird, Belzoni. Together they uncover hidden secrets, lost treasure and rescue the girl of his dreams… Keeping Tad in check and on the right path to find Sara is top of Belzoni’s list and his cheeky nature means he provides the laughs for their adventures as well.

First Images from 'Godzilla: King of the Monsters'

Godzilla: King of the Monsters is an upcoming American monster film directed and co-written by Michael Dougherty. It is a sequel to Godzilla (2014) and will be the 35th film in the Godzilla franchise, the third film in Legendary's MonsterVerse, and the third Godzilla film to be completely produced by a Hollywood studio. The film stars Vera Farmiga, Ken Watanabe, Sally Hawkins, Kyle Chandler, Millie Bobby Brown, Bradley Whitford, Thomas Middleditch, Charles Dance, O'Shea Jackson Jr., Aisha Hinds, and Zhang Ziyi.

Principal photography began on June 19, 2017 in Atlanta, Georgia and concluded on September 27, 2017. The film is scheduled to be released on May 31, 2019 in 2D, 3D, and select IMAX theaters.

King Cohen - 'Q' clip

The highly anticipated King Cohen, the true story of writer, producer, director, creator and all-around maverick, Larry Cohen,  will receive a full theatrical run across the U.S beginning July 20 in L.A (with other cities in the weeks to follow),  courtesy Dark Star Pictures.

Cohen, best known for resourceful low-budget horror and thriller films that combine social commentary with prerequisite scares and welcome humor, is responsible for celluloid classics including Black Caesar, It’s Alive, Q: The Winged Serpent, and The Stuff. He was also a major player in the Blaxploitation films of the 1970s, as well as a prominent Hollywood screenwriter (Phone Booth).

The acclaimed film features interviews with such industry luminaries as Martin Scorsese, J.J Abrams, Joe Dante, Mick Garris, John Landis, Fred Williamson as well as Cohen himself. Cohen’s remarkable one-of-a-kind career, from 60’s TV series creator (Branded, The Invaders), to 70’s and 80’s independent film icon and beyond, is chronicled with freewheeling and insightful verve.

Winner of the 2017 Fantasia Fest Best Documentary Feature Audience Award, King Cohen hails from Rondo Award-winning writer/director Steve Mitchell, whose film and television credits include co-writing the beloved cult horror/comedy Chopping Mall. Mission: Impossible - Fallout Review

Mission: Impossible – Fallout is an upcoming 2018 American action spy film written, co-produced and directed by Christopher McQuarrie. It is the sixth installment in the Mission: Impossible film series, and the second film to be directed by McQuarrie after Rogue Nation (2015), making him the first person to direct more than one film in the franchise. The cast includes Tom Cruise, Simon Pegg, Rebecca Ferguson, Ving Rhames, Sean Harris, Michelle Monaghan, and Alec Baldwin, all of whom reprise their roles from previous films, while Henry Cavill and Angela Bassett join the franchise. The House That Jack Built is an upcoming psychological horror-thriller film written and directed by Lars von Trier, starring Matt Dillon in the title role of Jack. The story follows Jack, a serial killer, over the course of 12 years in the 1970s and 1980s in the US state of Washington. Von Trier has described the film as celebrating "the idea that life is evil and soulless."

The film will debut at the Cannes Film Festival, marking von Trier's return to the festival after more than six years.

The story follows Jack, a highly intelligent serial killer, over the course of 12 years and depicts the murders that truly develop Jack as a serial killer.

TRAILER: Detective Dee: The Four Heavenly Kings - in selected UK cinemas from 27th July 2018

In this historical martial arts epic, Detective Dee (Mark Chao, Young Detective Dee, Monga) is appointed by Emperor Gaozong to protect the Tang Dynasty from rival Empress Wu (Carina Lau, 2046, Days of Being Wild) and is bestowed with the magical Dragon Taming Mace. Wu orders Yuchi Zhenjin (Feng Shaofeng, Wolf Totem, White Vengeance) of the Golden Gard to recruit five mystics and task them with stealing the threatening Mace, the consequence of which is capital punishment for Dee.

Storming the Department of Investigation, Wu orders a demonstration of sorcery power which goes horrifically wrong with deadly consequences. In the confusion, Yuchi Zhenjin is seen killing colleagues of the Golden Gard. It falls to Detective Dee to solve the puzzle and redress the balance of power to save the Tang Dynasty.

Legendary director Tsui Hark (The Taking of Tiger Mountain, Once Upon a Time in China, The Banquet) returns to direct the third film in the immensely successful series, which has racked up over USD$200m at the box office and bagged 20+ major award nominations with a star-studded cast that is just as award-worthy.

TRAILER: Euthanizer injects into theaters this July

Writer/director Teemu Nikki’s Euthanizer injects into theaters this July, and August on VOD, via Uncork’d Entertainment.

Veijo runs a black-market operation euthanizing people's ailing pets to make extra money. It is clear he has dark secrets, but only after meeting a young nurse and a seedy mechanic (who's mixed up with a vicious gang of neo-Nazis) that Veijo's carefully balanced, albeit deranged, life begins to show cracks. Things turn to the extreme when Veijo does not finish a job he was paid to and his client finds out…in this grungy exploitation throwback.

Thugs of Hindostan - Poster and Trailer

IMAX Corporation (NYSE:IMAX) announced that Yash Raj Films’ much-anticipated epic —Thugs of Hindostan—will be digitally re-mastered in the immersive IMAX format and released in IMAX® theatres in India and select international markets beginning this November.

YRF’s Thugs of Hindostan is the most highly-anticipated Bollywood spectacle releasing this Diwali! Starring two of the biggest superstars of Bollywood, Aamir Khan and Amitabh Bachchan, Thugs of Hindostan is the largest festive release for audiences. It also stars one of Bollywood’s most famous actresses Katrina Kaif and acclaimed actor Fatima Sana Shaikh (of Dangal fame) starring in the mega action entertainer. Synopsis:
The film's plot is based on Philip Meadows Taylor's 1839 novel Confessions of a Thug, about a Thug (also known as Thuggee) called Ameer Ali, whose gang of Thugs posed a serious challenge to the British Empire in India (then known as Hindustan or Hindostan) during the early 19th century. The film tells a fictional story set between 1790 and 1805.[6] The protagonist Ameer Ali is portrayed by Aamir Khan.

New Trailer for THE FOREST OF THE LOST SOULS

Ricardo and Carolina are complete strangers that meet seemingly by chance in the “Forest of the Lost Souls”, a place where many people go to commit suicide. These two, a young woman and an old man, are no different than the others as they also came to the forest for this very reason.

They decide to briefly postpone killing themselves in order to explore the forest and also to continue talking to one another, as Ricardo and Carolina find themselves intrigued by one another.

However, as the pair go further into the forest it becomes clear that one of them has other reasons for being in the forest and is not who they would have the other believe them to be and is actually a psychopath…

The Forest of the Lost Souls will open theatrically August 5 in L.A and other cities.

Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again - Final Trailer

Ten years after Mamma Mia! The Movie grossed more than $600 million around the world, you are invited to return to the magical Greek island of Kalokairi in an all-new original musical based on the songs of ABBA.  With the film’s original cast returning and new additions including Lily James (Cinderella, Baby Driver), the musical comedy will open on July 20, 2018.

Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again is produced by Judy Craymer and Gary Goetzman, producers of the original film.  Craymer is also the creator and producer of the worldwide smash-hit stage musical. 

Ol Parker, writer of The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel, writes and directs the sequel from a story by Catherine Johnson, Richard Curtis and Parker.  Benny Andersson and Björn Ulvaeus return to provide music and lyrics and serve as executive producers.  Tom Hanks, Rita Wilson, Phyllida Lloyd, Richard Curtis and Nicky Kentish Barnes also serve as executive producers.

Reprising their roles from Mamma Mia! The Movie are Academy Award® winner Meryl Streep as Donna, Julie Walters as Rosie and Christine Baranski as Tanya.  Amanda Seyfried and Dominic Cooper reunite as Sophie and Sky, while Pierce Brosnan, Stellan Skarsgård and Oscar® winner Colin Firth return to play Sophie’s three possible dads: Sam, Bill and Harry.

As the film goes back and forth in time to show how relationships forged in the past resonate in the present, James will play the role of Young Donna.  Filling the roles of Young Rosie and Young Tanya are Alexa Davies (A Brilliant Young Mind) and Jessica Keenan Wynn (Broadway’s Beautiful).  Young Sam will be played by Jeremy Irvine (War Horse), while Young Bill is Josh Dylan (Allied) and Young Harry is Hugh Skinner (Kill Your Friends).
