From the team behind the worldwide success The Beatles: Eight Days a Week comes two-time Academy Award® winning director Ron Howard's documentary celebrating the life of the beloved opera star Luciano Pavarotti, who sold over 100 million records in his lifetime. The Cold Blue Theatrical Extended Trailer

In Cinemas across the UK & Ireland July 4th 2019

The Cold Blue is a new feature-length film, digitally restored, constructed from the material of 34 reels of raw, colour, footage shot during bombing missions in Germany. Captured by William Wyler, it was originally shot for the 1944 documentary The Memphis Belle: A story of a Flying Fortress.
Incredibly all this footage was recently discovered, deep in the vaults of the National Archives by Director / Producer Erik Nelson.

In 1943, Wyler went to Europe to document the Air War in progress during WWII for the creation of the classic 1944 documentary The Memphis Belle. Wyler captured footage of bombing missions over Europe whilst flying actual combat missions with B-17’s.

In the Summer of 2017 nine of the very few surviving B-17 pilot veterans from this mission were interviewed and their voices take us through the harrowing world that Wyler and his cameramen captured in that summer of 1943.

Created for the purpose of an immersive big screen experience, using every 21st century technical technique available, The Cold Blue presents original, colour footage, shot by Wyler and his team, restored frame by frame. Boasting a brilliant, original orchestral score by British musician, Richard Thompson and sound design by Black Panther’s David Hughes.

This event will be paired with an exclusive behind the scenes look at the making of The Cold Blue. Including a compelling and evocative look at WW2 via a range of unique perspectives, how the UK viewed the support of the allied troops, poignant and difficult moments brought to life via incredible colour footage, interviews of the 8th Airforce veterans and interviews with director Eric Nelson & Wyler’s daughter Catherine, telling the remarkable story behind the “found footage” and how The Cold Blue was created.

Yesterday - In Theaters June 28 (Extended Clip) (HD)

Yesterday, everyone knew The Beatles. Today, only Jack remembers their songs. He’s about to become a very big deal. From Academy Award®-winning director Danny Boyle (Slumdog Millionaire, Trainspotting, 28 Days Later) and Richard Curtis, the Oscar-nominated screenwriter of Four Weddings and a Funeral, Love Actually and Notting Hill, comes a rock-n-roll comedy about music, dreams, friendship, and the long and winding road that leads to the love of your life.

Jack Malik (Himesh Patel, BBC’s Eastenders) is a struggling singer-songwriter in a tiny English seaside town whose dreams of fame are rapidly fading, despite the fierce devotion and support of his childhood best friend, Ellie (Lily James, Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again). Then, after a freak bus accident during a mysterious global blackout, Jack wakes up to discover that The Beatles have never existed … and he finds himself with a very complicated problem, indeed.

Performing songs by the greatest band in history to a world that has never heard them, and with a little help from his steel-hearted American agent, Debra (Emmy winner Kate McKinnon), Jack’s fame explodes. But as his star rises, he risks losing Ellie — the one person who always believed in him. With the door between his old life and his new closing, Jack will need to get back to where he once belonged and prove that all you need is love.

Featuring new versions of The Beatles’ most beloved hits, Yesterday is produced by Working Title’s Tim Bevan and Eric Fellner (Love Actually, About A Boy, the Bridget Jones series) alongside Matthew James Wilkinson and Bernie Bellew. REVIEW: Loqueesha - Directed by Jeremy Saville

Review by Jon Donnis
Loqueesha is a film by Jeremy Saville, it tells the story of Joe, a bartender. Joe has a very smart son, and decides to send his son to a Private School whereby he can get the absolute best education possible. Since Joe is a bartender and regularly gets told his advice is "amazing" and that he should charge for it, after being given an advert, he decides to apply for a talk show job at a radio station, whereby he could have his own talk show, giving advice to people with problems.

As a white middle aged man, he is told that he is not right for the show, and gets rejected, remembering the advert he creates a character called Loqueesha, a larger than life, black woman. As expected the radio station employs "her" straight away. And this is when the fun really starts.

The film's comedy comes from Joe's attempts, or should that be Loqueesha's attempts at keeping her/his identity a secret, as well as keeping the "scam" going at all costs. Some of the advice given during the radio show is truly laugh out loud at times, a rare feat to accomplish in the "we've seen everything before" generation.

Despite being a comedy, there is an underlining issue here that is addressed very well, that being of identity, race and gender, and although we have seen similar comedies in the past that flip the script on gender and race, "Loqueesha" does it in a very original and unique way. And with something as serious as race and gender issues, the film keeps it lighthearted and the laughs never stop coming.

The cast as a whole were all new to me, which is something I like, and hopefully this film will be a good launching platform for many of the younger actors who really come across well.

The Angry Birds Movie 2 - Poster and new Sneak Peak

Tere’s nothing like a common foe to bring sworn enemies together, and on the eve of the 72nd Cannes Film Festival, the flightless angry birds and scheming green piggies of the upcoming THE ANGRY BIRDS MOVIE 2 did just that for the cameras. Faced with a new avian co-star/antagonist and armed with their signature slingshot, birds and pigs joined forces to fling a willing hatchling as part of a photo call this afternoon at the Carlton Hotel’s iconic pier.

Star Josh Gad (“Chuck”), producer John Cohen, and director Thurop Van Orman took the opportunity to unveil a new scene from the anticipated sequel, which will roll out globally starting in August and through October 2019.

"It's so cool to finally get to come to Cannes, especially for a movie I'm so proud of" said Van Orman. "...and what a send-off, literally!"

Added Cohen, “Josh and I were here right before the premiere of the first film, in 2016, and that launched us to open at number one in 52 territories around the world. Now that Angry Birds is established as a film property, we're super excited to expand on the narrative and really have fun.”

Gad, Cohen, and Van Orman were joined onstage by some of the movie’s international star talent, including Sergey Burunov, who voices “Leonard” in Russia; Enzo Knol and Irma Knol, as Holland’s “Chuck” and “Bomb’s Mom,” respectively; and Sonia Plakidyuk, playing “Fuchsia” in Ukraine.

IT CHAPTER TWO - Official Teaser Trailer

Evil resurfaces in Derry as director Andy Muschietti reunites the Losers Club—young and adult—in a return to where it all began with “It Chapter Two.”

The film is Muschietti’s follow-up to 2017’s critically acclaimed and massive worldwide box office hit “IT,” which grossed over $700 million globally.  Both redefining and transcending the genre, “IT” became part of the cultural zeitgeist as well as the highest-grossing horror film of all time.

Because every 27 years evil revisits the town of Derry, Maine, “It Chapter Two” brings the characters—who’ve long since gone their separate ways—back together as adults, nearly three decades after the events of the first film.

Late Night - Emma Thompson and Mindy Kaling join forces

LATE NIGHT is the story of legendary late-night talk show host Katherine Newbury (Thompson) who, after years of complacency and declining ratings, finds her show is on the network’s chopping block. Katherine’s world is turned upside down when she hires her first ever female staff writer, Molly Patel (Kaling) who brings fresh eyes and an honest perspective. Katherine’s decision has unexpectedly hilarious consequences, as her show is upended by Molly’s passionate, unapologetic, at times outright bizarre approach to comedy and to life. By finally opening up to Molly and to her audience, with warmth, vulnerability (and the occasional menopause joke) Katherine reconnects with both the public and those closest to her.

LATE NIGHT is released in UK cinemas on 7 June 2019.

Legendary hit man John Wick must fight his way out of New York when a $14 million contract on his life makes him the target of the world's top assassins.

Interview with Katerina Eichenberger

Katerina Eichenberger was at college when she discovered an audition in a popular entertainment magazine for a film titled ‘Just Say Goodbye’. Four years later, the talented and beautiful actress is the star of a major new motion picture experience that isn’t only the talk of the web but leading the charge for mental health awareness month.

How did you get involved in this one, Katerina?
I was in my senior year at NYU and had technically graduated early that previous December 2015 and was TAing for one of my teachers, Ellen Parks, while I waited to walk at my graduation in May. I wanted to begin working on more projects for experience and found the audition opportunity for Just Say Goodbye on Backstage, a site for artists to cast films, audition, etc, and applied and ended up getting cast!

How closely could you relate to the topics in the film?
I have been lucky to not have lost anyone personally to suicide; however, I have known of people who have. Of course, seeing how suicide has taken major public figures including Robin Williams, Anthony Bourdain, and Kate Spade, is a constant reminder of how common this is. Living is hard! Especially in an age where image can guide our popularity and “success”. We are constantly comparing ourselves, our worth to other people. It is constantly surrounding all of us and as artists, it is our job to remember and remind others that we are enough, that human beings are not perfect, that we struggle, that death is always around us but we must do everything we can to continue because by continuing we can experience the moments of beauty that do exist every day, no matter how small.

Sit down to watch any similar movies before shooting began on this?
Honestly, I did not. I read more than I watched because I did not want to fall into the whole of comparing my work to someone else’s. It’s a personal thing that simply works best for me.

I imagine the movie educates us as well as it does entertain?
Absolutely! It reminds us that it’s better to have someone mad at you than losing them forever.

It’s essentially a two-hander between you and Max. do you feel more pressure knowing a lot of it resting on your shoulders?
I feel pressure whether it’s a part with 2 lines or a principle role. I never want to let anyone down. I definitely felt pressure during this film because it’s an important story to tell and I wanted to give it all the gusto, honesty, pain and love that it deserved.

Do you find it easy to watch your work back?
Not at all! It’s very intimidating and uncomfortable, but it helps me become a better actor and I must do it as much as it pains me.

Would you compare the storyline to anything we’ve seen in earlier films?
I’m not sure I understand the question!

Insert the blank. If you loved….. you’ll love my movie.
Perks of Being a Wallflower

Where does this one rank in terms of your favorite projects? And do you have a top favorite?
Definitely a favorite of mine as it is one of the first feature films I did as a principle actor. It will always mean so much to me. We did a lot considering our budget and situation.

What’s next for you?
I am currently working on a play called Spirits to Enforce with the theatre company Vernal & Sere. We opened May 2nd!  It’s a brilliantly meta whacky show that has challenged me in a variety of ways. If you’re reading and live in Atlanta, GA, come see it!

Trailer: BLUE arrives on digital today

Half of all marine life has been lost in the last 40 years. By 2050 there will be more plastic in the sea than fish. A powerful feature documentary Blue, from renowned film-maker Karina Holden (Magical Land Of Oz), takes us on a provocative journey into the ocean realm, to witness a critical moment in time…when the marine world is on a precipice. Following its theatrical run the film is now set for its UK digital release on 29 April 2019 with the DVD release to follow on 1 July 2019 from Sparky Pictures.

Blue presents a fascinating and important story that needs to be told. We journey across the seas and into the world of passionate advocates for ocean preservation, where the story of our changing oceans is unfolding.

Our inspirational guides, Lucas Handley, Madison Stewart, Philip Mango, Dr Jennifer Lavers, Tim Silverwood, Mark Dia and Valerie Taylor, have one common aim, to be guardians of the ocean and inspire others to join their work to protect the world we live in. They are defending habitats, campaigning for smarter fishing, combating marine pollution and fighting for the protection of keystone species.

The industrialisation that has occurred in the oceans over the last century mirrors the events that triggered mass extinctions on land. Industrial scale fishing, habitat destruction, species loss and pollution have placed the ocean in peril. The very nature of the sea is being irretrievably altered. The ocean can no longer be thought of as a place of limitless resources, a dumping ground, immune to change or decline, we have learnt a lot on about how the ocean operates, but need to act on that knowledge before it’s too late.

Blue comes at a time when we are making critical decisions that will decide the legacy we leave for generations to come and shows us there is a way forward and the time to act is now.

Rupert, Rupert & Rupert, releasing this Friday

Rupert is a struggling actor, Rupert is struggling to find love, and Rupert is struggling to know who he is in bittersweet British drama Rupert, Rupert & Rupert, which is set for its world premiere this spring with a limited theatrical and digital release thanks to Substantial Films.

Respected Scottish actor Sandy Batchelor (Othello and The Captain of Kopenick – National Theatre) takes the lead in a jawdropping turn as a budding actor trying to navigate life with dissociative identity disorder (aka multiple personality disorder) that will have you laughing, crying, and hiding behind a cushion.

This rollercoaster ride follows budding actor Rupert Lindsay (Sandy Batchelor) who is desperate to get his big break in acting, but there’s one slight problem: he keeps having angry and lascivious outbursts and he can never remember what he did, what he said or even who he hurt. A chance audition puts him in front of failed film director Geoffrey Morton (Ben Porter – Casualty, The Bill), whose last hope in the industry rests on finding a star who can effectively portray the lead in ‘The Fatal Blasphemy of Jeremiah Ulysses’s Boundless Rage.’

Rupert’s angry outbursts have never looked so good, but his psychotherapist Angus (Adam Astill – Unforgotten, Eastenders) wouldn’t agree. Trying to keep his disorder in check, Angus is concerned about how Rupert will cope with the pressure of having the success of the play resting on him losing control.

Romance is in the air when Rupert falls for make-up artist Stevie (Daisy Keeping – Holby City, Humans), but which Rupert is she in love with? Rupert is confronted with a choice between his career, his love life, and his mental health…luckily there’s three of him to deal with it.

The film is written and directed by British father and son duo Mick and Tom Sands (Backtrack, The Holly Kane Experiment, False Witness). Lead actor Sandy Batchelor and director Tom Sands have just commenced another collaboration on an exciting new film, All Out based on Neil Drysdale’s book Dad’s Army - How Freuchie Took Cricket by Storm. It tells the unbelievable but true story of a cricket team from a small village in Scotland that triumphed at Lord’s in the National Village Cup in 1985.

The Rupert team worked closely with a veteran psychotherapist, who consulted on the script and advised the cast to ensure an accurate portrayal of the disorder. This bold exploration of living with mental illness is perfect for indie lovers, theatre lovers and everyone in between.

Rupert, Rupert & Rupert arrives in cinemas 26 April 2019 and on digital Amazon Video, iTunes and GooglePlay.

Interview with Eduardo Castrillo

The idea for Worth, now available on Amazon Prime, came to writer, actor, producer and director Eduardo Castrillo via experiences he and (MMA fighter) Jose Palacios had on the circuit.

Where did the idea for the story come from, sir?
The idea from the story came from a lot from personal experiences from me and also my friend Jose Palacios, who is a professional muay thai fighter. I used to ask him all kinds of questions to try and understand the life of a fighter, especially in muay thai. It’s completely different than boxing and MMA, so it was a fun world to write about and hopefully introduce to a new audience.

How much of the film was in the script and how much of it simply came together on the set?
I would say about seventy five percent of what’s on screen is the script and the rest came out of natural energy between the actors. The biggest change was the ending. My character was only supposed to fight one opponent in the film but when the original fighter didn’t show up to our second film day, we had to find a replacement actor which turned out to be a blessing in disguise. He did an amazing job and I was able to use footage from both shoots to add more action into the film.

Where do you think your strengths lie as a writer?
I tend to gear myself more towards humor even when i’m not trying to. I’ll forget about a line or a quip that I had found funny when originally writing and be surprised when the audience laughs at it. If you can keep the audience chuckling every once in a while, you’ll keep them in engaged.

Did you always intend to direct the movie or was there a stage you considered pitching the script to studios?
I always intended to keep this movie in house. The previous film I worked on, I had signed away the rights to a producer, because he brought a budget and some names to it but in the end it wasn't the right thing to do. With Worth I knew it would be very personal so I had to do it my way and with my team. Even in distributing the film, I decided to self distribute it and retain my rights to the project. Succeed or fail, it still belongs to us.

How difficult a film was it to make? Can you talk about some of the challenges?
Because the film was self funded, we had to shoot not as frequent as I would like. I would work for a few months and save, and then we would shoot for a weekend. It took about a year to get all the footage we needed to tell the story. And I was playing a fighter so during that time I had to continuously train and diet and that was a challenge in itself.

Did most of the cast know martial arts?
Yeah there was actually a few fighters in the movie, like Jose Palacios and Mauricio Alonso. Even my opponent, Manny Perez, was a fighter. It was important to have them in there and have their voice as I shot the film.

Where can we find the movie?
You can find Worth on platforms such as, Comcast Xfinity,Vudu, Itunes, and Amazon Prime Video. Dvds and Blu Ray also available on Amazon as well.
