Jack Ryan: Ghost War brings Jack Ryan back into the field when a routine international covert operation collapses into something far more dangerous. What begins as a controlled mission quickly unravels into a widening conspiracy, pushing Ryan into direct confrontation with a rogue black-ops unit that always seems one step ahead. With the situation escalating in real time and lives hanging in the balance, the pressure builds fast, leaving no room for hesitation.

Forced back into the world he tried to step away from, Jack reunites with familiar allies including CIA veteran Mike November and former CIA head James Greer. Their experience becomes essential as they try to contain an enemy that appears to anticipate their every move. The mission takes on a deeper edge when MI6 officer Emma Marlowe enters the picture, bringing a sharp new dynamic to the team as trust is tested and alliances shift under pressure.

Set across a global stage, the film continues the tone of the series while pushing into more immediate, high-stakes territory. It leans into tense, intelligent storytelling where every decision carries weight and every mistake has consequences. The returning ensemble, led by John Krasinski alongside Wendell Pierce and Michael Kelly, builds on the relationships that defined the series, now stretched under extreme conditions.

Sienna Miller joins the cast as Emma Marlowe, an MI6 officer whose precision and instinct match Ryan’s own, creating an unlikely but effective partnership as the threat tightens around them. As the past begins to resurface, the mission becomes deeply personal, forcing each character to confront what they thought was already behind them.

Premiering globally on Prime Video on 20 May 2026.

After four successful seasons on Prime, Jack Ryan steps into a new phase with Ghost War, a feature-length story that pulls the character back into the world of espionage for what is described as his most personal and dangerous mission yet. The shift to film brings a broader, global scope, while keeping the intelligent, grounded tone that defined the series.

The story follows Jack as he is reluctantly drawn into an international covert operation that quickly begins to fall apart. What starts as a mission soon exposes a deadly conspiracy, forcing him to confront a rogue black ops unit as the situation escalates. With events unfolding in real time and lives on the line, the pressure builds with every moment, leaving little room for error.

John Krasinski returns in the lead role, alongside Wendell Pierce and Michael Kelly, whose characters have been central to the series and its appeal. Their shared experience becomes a vital asset as they face an enemy who appears to anticipate their every move, creating a constant sense of tension and uncertainty.

Sienna Miller joins the cast as MI6 officer Emma Marlowe, a sharp and capable addition who quickly proves herself to be as effective as Jack. Together, they form a strong partnership as they navigate a dangerous web of betrayal, with the past resurfacing in ways that make this mission feel closer and more personal than ever before.

Directed by Andrew Bernstein, Ghost War blends sharp storytelling with high stakes action, placing its characters under intense pressure as they face a threat unlike any they have encountered before.

Prime Video has confirmed a release date for The Wrecking Crew, the new action comedy starring Dave Bautista and Jason Momoa. The film lands on the service on 28 January 2026 and brings together two of the most recognisable physical performers working today in a story built around family fractures, buried truths and escalating mayhem.

Directed by Ángel Manuel Soto, the filmmaker behind Blue Beetle, the film centres on estranged half brothers Jonny and James. Played by Momoa and Bautista respectively, the pair are forced back into each other's lives following their father's mysterious death. What begins as an uneasy reunion quickly turns into a deeper search for answers, as long hidden secrets begin to surface and loyalties are pushed to breaking point. At the heart of the story sits a conspiracy that threatens to tear the family apart, leaving the brothers little choice but to face it together.

The screenplay comes from Jonathan Tropper, with production handled by Jeff Fierson, Jason Momoa, Dave Bautista, Matt Reeves and Lynn Harris. The cast surrounding the two leads is extensive, with Claes Bang, Temuera Morrison, Jacob Batalon, Frankie Adams and Miyavi all appearing, alongside Stephen Root and Morena Baccarin. The ensemble suggests a mix of intensity and humour, fitting the film's action comedy tone.

Set against the streets of Hawaii, The Wrecking Crew leans into its location as the backdrop for both its emotional confrontations and its physical set pieces. With a running time of two hours and two minutes, the film positions itself as a full scale genre piece, blending explosive action with family driven drama. As the brothers dig deeper into the truth, they make it clear they are ready to wreck anything that stands in their way.

PREVIEW: Heads of State (2025 Film) - Starring Idris Elba, John Cena, Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Carla Gugino

John Cena and Idris Elba are back together, but this time they're not battling each other in a squad of supervillains. In Heads of State, premiering on Prime Video on 2 July 2025, they're leading the charge in a globe-trotting action comedy that throws diplomacy out the window and leans into mayhem with style. Elba plays UK Prime Minister Sam Clarke, Cena is U.S. President Will Derringer, and the two are stuck with each other whether they like it or not. The pair's frosty public rivalry ends up becoming a real problem when a powerful foreign threat targets both of them, forcing these two stubborn leaders to trust the only people they can rely on: each other.

The setup is pure buddy-action nostalgia, soaked in all the energy of those big, brash 90s pair-ups. There's no shortage of explosions, wild stunts and high-stakes drama, but it's all underpinned by sharp, fast-moving comedy that plays off the personalities at the centre. Neither Clarke nor Derringer are particularly good at sharing the spotlight, but they're going to have to figure it out on the run if they want to stay alive. Priyanka Chopra Jonas plays MI6 agent Noel Bisset, joining the chaotic road trip as a much more competent counterbalance, while the supporting cast is full of familiar names including Carla Gugino, Jack Quaid, Stephen Root, Sarah Niles, Richard Coyle and Paddy Considine.

Ilya Naishuller, who directed Hardcore Henry and Nobody, is behind the camera here, so expect a kinetic visual style that doesn't take itself too seriously. The film blends that gritty, action-heavy approach with the kind of quick-fire banter that drives buddy films when they're at their best. That mix of physical comedy and intense set pieces gives the whole thing a high-octane rhythm, never really letting the characters, or the audience, catch their breath.

Cena and Elba bring a natural chemistry, picking up where they left off in The Suicide Squad, though this time they're not on opposing sides. Probably. They're both listed as executive producers too, so it's clear they're throwing themselves into the project with more than just the usual on-screen bravado. The screenplay is by Josh Appelbaum, André Nemec and Harrison Query, based on a story by Query, and it's full of the kind of clever twists and big laughs that come with two oversized egos locked in a situation neither one can fully control.

Heads of State looks like the kind of film that revels in its own chaos. It's a chase, a fight, and a buddy story all rolled into one, with plenty of snark and a good helping of tension between its leads. With a clear affection for the genre it's playing in, and a cast that knows how to walk the line between serious action and comic timing, it's set to bring a different kind of diplomacy to screens this summer.

Coming to Prime Video Globally on 2 July 2025
