Garnering awards galore and acclaim from critics and audiences alike, on its theatrical release in 2017, this ‘moving, emotional masterpiece’ (Empire), paints a colourful portrait of childhood on the margins. We’re introduced to six-year-old Moonee (Prince) and her young mother Halley (Vinaite), who live in a budget motel in the shadow of Disney World.
Over one summer Moonee turns her surroundings into a playground of adventure with her friends, while her mum quietly fights to keep their fragile world afloat. Dafoe delivers a career-best performance as Bobby, a gruff motel manager whose genuine care anchors the community.
The Florida Project Limited Edition arrives in dual format, complete with three-discs, one UHD and two Blu-rays, with the main feature and bonus features on both formats. The set is presented in a stunning rigid slipcase with new artwork by Michael Dunbabin and includes more than four-and-a-half hours of new bonus material, plus a fascinating 160-page book with new essays.
